About Go21

Go21's Mission:  Unite citizens in support of a stronger economy, effective solutions to highway congestion, a cleaner environment, and improved quality of life by advocating increased use of freight railroad transportation as an alternative to continued reliance on an overcrowded highway system.

Our goals and methods are simple:  inform and involve community leaders across the nation.  Our economy and population are growing, and our need for freight transportation is expected to increase tremendously over the next 20 years.  How well we deal with this growth will effect our economy, our environment, and our well being - and since everyone will feel the impact, everyone should get involved.

America's freight railroads are an overlooked option for handling increased freight traffic.  By focusing attention on our freight rail system's capabilities and potential, we hope to strengthen our nation's economy, make our roads safer and our air cleaner, and improve our quality of life.
